Lathyrus vernus is a non-vining perennial sweet pea
Multi-stemmed, clump forming plant with a bushy habit that grows to about 30cm high.
It bears showy sweet pea-like flowers, colours from a rich reddish purple to bubble-gum pink, turning violet-blue as they mature.
In bloom, lathyrus looks like a charming bouquet of sweet peas in the garden.
These are very easy to care for, and are a welcome spring colour addition
